Last week, to close out our summer, Carey's parents came to visit us from Florida.
It had been over three years since we last saw them- it was great to see them again. 
We had a wonderful visit- doing alot of catching up, some shopping, and showing them around Bend. 
My favorite day was when we visited the Lava lands and Lava Butte. The view from the top is so beautiful!
Anyway- here's hoping that our next visit with Grandpa and Grandma Meerdink is very soon!
P.S..... Another fabulous sunset from our backyard....
