YES! We are finally out of that hotel!!! We spent exactly 46 nights at the Holiday Inn Express- and I can't tell you how good it felt last Friday to lay in my own bed, with my own blankets. Ohhhh- the joy!
So above you will see a picture of the new Meerdink Manor (and Steven). I love this house. It really is perfect for us. It needs a little work on the yard, and I look forward to giving the walls some color- but for now, I am very content to just unpack my boxes, and get settled. However- you'll notice at the right of the picture a very large, very ugly bush. Yeah, that was gone the day we moved in. It just couldn't wait.
As I begin to decorate the house, I'll post some before and after pictures. I'm so excited!!!
And grateful. This move came so suddenly and unexpectedly, but it has worked out so well. Carey and I have dreamed of owning our own home for a long, long time. And now it has finally happened. We are just so ridiculously happy!
