home sweet... hotel

Living in a hotel has it's perks. 3 to be exact...

1. I have not had to clean a toilet in 3 weeks.

2. Fresh sheets and a nicely made bed every day.

3. Swimming every day keeps my boys boredom away.

We have been living in our humble hotel home at the Holiday Inn Express for almost 4 weeks now. Room 338 is a decent little suite- Carey and I have our own room, we have a kitchen table and a kitchenette. The bathtub is to die for- we could seriously fit our entire family in it, turn on the jets and have a spa night.

But alas, we are getting a little bored. We spend as much time as possible away from the hotel, and to be honest the rest of the time is spent either at the pool or watching TV. I swear, my kids have never watched so much television in their lives! Before moving- we didn't even have TV- that's right... no cable, no basic channels- nothing. Just Netflix. It was nice- but now the kiddos have made up for the last 4 years already. Hope they enjoy it- cause it will be gone soon. It will be gone in 3 weeks...

That's right- in 3 weeks we will close on our new house! I'm so excited- excited because after 12 years of being renters, Carey and I will now be home owners. Our first place! But- I may be slightly more excited about the idea of GETTING OUT OF THIS HOTEL!!!!!
